Naomi Hunte: Unsolved Murder (2022)

On the 14th of February 2022, at approx 20:25 Naomi Hunte (41) was found deceased in her flat at Congleton Grove, Greenwich, southeast London. Police had been called to the address after a neighbor had reportedly heard louse noises including a scream in the early hours. One neighbour who lied below Naomi told the Evening Standard that she had heard thuds, a scream, and a man's voice in Naomi's apartment.

We do not know who called the police and/or what led to the police and firefighter breaking down Naomi's door to gain entry. Other neighbours reported to the Evening Standard that they had been told by police that she could have been lying in the flat for a couple of days before being found.

A postmortem revealed that Naomi has died from a stab wound. No other details have been revealed, including an indication of defensive wounds. Police have also not revealed details from the crime scene, so we don't whether someone had broken in or been invited in.

on the 18th of February 2022, a 63-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of Naomi's murder but was quickly bailed and no charges have been brought.

Naomi had lived in the area for a very long time and was known to many of her neighbours. She lived alone, and her mother lived nearby, but not much information has been released about Naomi's life.
